Plant
STAS consists of 4 different plants: Waregem (Belgium), Tournai (Belgium), Freudenberg (Germany) and Medias (Romania). As all our plants are production sites, we aim to make them climate neutral as soon as possible.
Plant goals:
- Reducing CO2-emissions
By the year 2027 we aim to achieve a 40% reduction of CO2 emissions per plant, based on the baseline measurement from 2018. - CO2 neutral
The ultimate goal is to make all STAS plants CO2 neutral. - Solar panels
STAS Factory Waregem already installed solar panels which enables it to replace 1/3rd of the energy usage to solar power. We want to achieve similar results in our other STAS plants.
