Wear plates are made of heavy-duty aluminium with a hardness rating of 110 Brinell and are welded to the inside of the body. For highly abrasive loads that wear against the wall of your trailer, such as stones and scrap metal, we recommend you have wear plates installed. Wear plates protect the side wall of the trailer and once they are worn out a new wear plate can easily be welded in. Wear plates are available in different sizes, shapes, and thicknesses, depending on the load being transported.
We offer aluminium wear plates for tippers and aluminium wear plates for walking floor trailers. We can also offer solutions for trailers with curved walls, such as the stainless steel wear plates for Buildstar X.
